My Kids Gave Me a Performance Review for Mother’s Day

IMG_4766.jpg

For this month’s blog, I asked Nash + London to write a few thoughts on what Mother’s Day means to them. In truth, I half held my breath. I am an imperfect mom. Some days, my head feels like it might spin off my body and like I am barely getting our family through the day. Other days I feel like I am able to be all things to everyone at work, at home - like, wow, that was a good day (as I hang up my cape). But, after reading each of their pieces, I realized that kids see the best in us - at all times.

P.S. I just love kids’ creative brains and how they turned my name into a list of traits!

Happy Mother’s Day to all!

From Nash:

“Happy Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day is special because it celebrates our Moms and everything they do.

My Mom has taught me the basics and processes of running a business.

She’s there when I burn something in the oven or when I need help with school work :)

Mom is always able to help, when needed.

Even when things don’t go as planned, Mom is able to have fun with what we have.
